Beckett closing in on 8 months - love this little bundle

Introducing Beckett Crawford Arthurs

Howdy all - we are now 4.
Beckett Crawford Arthurs cruised into the world on Aug 31 at the wee early hour of 2:44am.  Weighing in at 9lb 5oz, topping out at a height of 21 inches, the kid is a little bundle of love.  Shana is doing great and we are all thrilled with Beck's arrival.

Home at last!

After spending a fair amount of time on planes, I'm home and on baby alert.  The due date is not until Aug 27 but Shana is ready.  I really can't believe this baby is almost here.  Time seemed to fly during this pregnancy; I'm told by our midwife, Alice, this is not uncommon. nevertheless, it's feeling pretty weird to not be more prepared.  We also just finished our summer performing arts camp for kids , Stage Left Productions.  The kids performed Seussical The Musical and they did an amazing job.  Our 2.5 yr old daughter made her stage debut and promptly made her mom and dad cry like babies.  We are both exhausted but starting to recover.
